The site launched in summer 2023. It will live until 2025.
Back in 2021-22, I went through another period of reflection — about myself and my relationship with design. I became more interested in empathy, in something more human and sincere. I wanted to update my website but couldn’t quite figure out which direction to take — I already felt something new inside, while everything around me still felt the same.
At some point, I realized that maybe design doesn’t really exist — at least not in the way we usually think of it. Maybe design isn’t about pixels, grids, or typefaces, but about the people who visit your site and feel something. So instead of redesigning, I decided to step aside. I built a small experiment — a simple page where anyone could draw whatever they wanted.
It was a strange feeling: to stop being the one who creates and become the one who observes. The moderation was still strict — I decided what stayed — but that wasn’t the point. What mattered was the shift itself: from control to participation, from authorship to presence. The site stopped being my project and turned into a small collective piece — imperfect, human, and alive.
